Mills Lawn School opens its doors to the community for this annual election night soup dinner; one of our favorite events.  Volunteers provide soup, rolls, salad, desserts and manpower to set-up, clean-up and run the event and donations are collected for the benefit of the PT

Welcome Back Family Pack-a-Picnic
MLS Elementary Back Lawn, 6:00pm

All Mills Lawn kids and their families are invited to the annual family pack-a-picnic on the school's back lawn. This much loved community event is a great way to kick off the school year and we're excited its back!

 

This year we are asking that you bring your own food (picnic style) for your family  as well as your own dishes and cutlery.  The PTO will provide beverages and extra plates & napkins.  Spread out a picnic blanket, watch the kids play and connect with other Mills Lawn families.

Bulldog Jog 5k & Kids 1.1mile Fun Run
MLS Elementary, Friday November 25
REGISTRATION OPENING SOON! 

Run or walk, man the course on race day, help with the planning of this important fundraiser, be a sponsor of the event or of the many prizes. 

 

There are many ways for everyone to be involved with this fun and important annual fundraiser much loved by the school and community.

All-School Talent Show
MLS Gymnasium, Friday January TBD, 6:00-8:00 pm

The All-School Talent Show is a great opportunity for students to share their skills and outside talents and mingle across the grades.

 

Any MLS student that wished to perform should have their parents/guardians contact Lauren Mikesell to provide the performer's name, age, grade and class, what type of performance it will be (dance, song, comedy, poem etc). We will provide the PA, CD/or digital music device, microphone, and a piano. Performances should be no longer than 3 minutes each.

$25/pp or $20/pp in advance. Round Robin Tournament. 
Sign in at 6:30pm, Tournament starts at 7:00pm.

Black History Month Celebration

Mills Lawn will celebrate Black History Month at our annual MLS BHM all-school Pep Rally supported by the PTO.


Volunteers will be needed with planning set-up and cleanup.

Bulldog Boogie

Calling Mills Lawn Students K-4th to come with your dancing shoes on to the annual Bulldog Boogie.

 

Entrance is free. Snacks will be available for a fee.

 

All children must be chaperoned by their parents or guardian.

Math & Science Night
MLS Gymnasium, April TBD, 6:30-8:00 pm


This is a favorite family night that gets our kids charged about math & science with hands-on educational fun.  Students, staff and volunteers design and man a series of booths and interactive experiences. Volunteers help with planning and also set-up, run the event stations and clean up afterwards. Be a Superstar and Volunteer at this great event!

We love our entire staff and want to thank them for all the ways they go above and beyond for our kids.

Volunteers plan, organize and donate activities and treats to make our staff feel how truly appreciated they are for their hard work and devotion.

MLS Bulldogs Spirit Wear
On Sale at PTO Events

To help our kids, families and staff show MLS Bulldog spirit on the weekly Friday "Bulldog Spirit Day," the PTO offers reasonably priced spiritwear for sale to students, adults & staff.

 

PTO offers these items for sale in person at PTO events throughout the year,  and accept cash or credit cards.

Look for our sales table at select PTO events such as:

• the PTO Potluck

• Bookfair Family Night(s) in November & March 

• The Bulldog Boogie

• Bike to School Celebration

 

Since supplies are limited, it is a first come-first served process.  Cash and checks are preferred, credit card is also accepted. All sales final.
