Celebrate the Holiday Season at the Gingerbread Festival 2017

November 15, 2017

Gingerbread Festival
December 9th, 2017

Mills Lawn Elementary

Share the magic of the holiday season with the Mills Lawn PTO at our annual Gingerbread Festival. A featured stop on the Village Holiday Carriage Ride; we invite you to join us and delight in the sounds and smells of the season! The event features a visit to Santa, a historical reenactment, cocoa & gingerbread snacks, a chance to build and decorate your own cookie cottage and the opportunity for children to shop for family gifts with a Student Council Elf in our Tyke Shop. Activities range from free to $6 each and all proceeds benefit Mills Lawn.

The final judging for the community-wide gingerbread house competition will take place at the festival as well. It is not too late to enter. Aspiring gingerbread house builders young and old are challenged to awe and inspire with their creative designs. If you would like to enter the contest, bring your creations to the Mills Lawn gym between 10am and 11am on the day of the festival with a completed entry form. Judging begins promptly at 11am. Forms are available onsite if one did not make it to your home. We look forward to oogling your creations!
